is Led Zeppelin a Progressive Rock band

As Led zeppelin was not a progressive rock band but they use progressive texture and elements in their music Not familiar much Anyone?

I wouldn't say Zep's a classic prog band, but yes, they dubbed in bluesy psychedelic prog with some songs like Kashmir, Communication Breakdown l, etc. Jethro Tull are progier than Zep while maintaining their rock sound.

I would say that their roots are firmly in the Blues, they morphed from the Yarbirds which was a 60's blues band.

I don't think anyone would list Led Zeppelin as Progressive Rock. There can be no good argument to file them as Progressive Rock.
