What are your fav bands/tracks covering Hawkwind that others might not know about?

Most everyone knows Monster Magnet has done a lot of Hawkwind covers (ALL of them are amazing), but what are some cool covers that fans should know about?

Off the top of my head:

  • Mugstar did a decent Born to Go (on a single with Mudhoney doing Urban Gorilla)
  • There's the 2010 Hawkwind Triad EP with US Christmas, Harvestman and Minsk (I dunno much about the later 2 but US Christmas was a pretty cool band)
Name some good covers....I'd like to hear em! I wonder who the first to cover a Hawkwind song was (and when)....
 
Silver machine was written by Dave Brock and Robert Calvert and sung by Ian (Lemmy) Kilminster.

There are some songs out there by Sam Fox - yes, that Sam Fox, surprisingly one of HW's most die-hard fans :) - which is not the infamous cover together of the Stones classic Gimme Shelter , but they're pretty hard to find because they're pretty underground songs :):)
 
Yes her version of Gimme shelter is on the green business of the future album.
