Now this is a piece of sad news indeed 
....rockers come and go, but Tom was of the special kind. Of course his music with Television was so badass as it was unclassifiable by normal rock standards. I have always thought of Television as being a rather 'garagey' band , not totally punk and not mainstream at all. Sorry if I repeat a common point here, but probably the arrangements of Tom's songs made the big diff with other bands of his time.
