Legendary Detroit columnist and longtime TSN contributor Joe Falls wrote about Motown icon Al Kaline in The Sporting News in 1968, shortly after the Tigers had clinched a spot in what would be a classic World Series they won over the Cardinals, four games to three. It was Kaline's first and only World Series.
