Dave Brock and Mickey Slattery had been in the London psychedelic band Famous Cure and a meeting with bassist John Harrison revealed a mutual interest in electronic music which led trio to embark upon a new musical venture together.
 
Yes, but fortunately, this new "electronic" element didn't waste the band like it did with later bands like Ozric Tentacles and the like......total garbage :) . Don't get me wrong, I don't disdain electronics in music, but when it tends to obscure the rest of a band's music, well, I say good riddance to it.
