I've written a 70's style rock song for a female vocalist and 70's style rock band. It's pretty close to being a duplicate in style and sound to Ronstadt's "You're No Good" same instrumentation could be used--lead electric guitar, bass electric guitar, rhythm guitar, electric keyboard, drums and a few of the musicians doubling as backup vocals, and female lead vocalist. I've tried perusing rock bands for hire but no one similar to this kind of setup shows up in groups available for hire on GigSalad and a few other similar Bands For Hire websites--local to me anyway, the northwestern part of Los Angeles. So now I'm considering hiring a pro on DAW's who might be able to put together a digital version without live musicians. I've checked out some software like ACE Studios and found the vocalist recreations to be credible enough singing lyrics for these ears.
So what's the best way to go about this? Live band that I'd have to haul into a studio--if I could even find a suitable band, or just hiring an expert to do all this digitally? Of course then I have to get my hands on the expert. Are there people who can do this digitally--a four minute song that is a virtual recreation of You're No Good except with different lyrics and music? If so how do I advertise for them? Thanks much in advance for any help you good people can render.
