pardon if this getting to be a bore but to elaborate a bit, specially to those with really hi-end, hi-tech digital/analog audio equipment, after tweaking (enhancing) the intro of high hopes, from the division bell album, using the downloadable free audacity app, there is this either an insect hum or a creepy vocal chant, surreptitiously layered with the hearable tolling bells,
that was not that audible before the enhancement. Is it the former or the latter, or just a distortion caused by the enhancement (by the way, my speakers are the really old cheap freebies I found lying around plugged to my sort of new desktop)? Just curious - the floyd will not be pink if not for their legendary predilection to include manifold sound effects to their compositions, hence the wall of sound . . . been listening to the group since the 80's, cassette tapes then.
