Rock music became popular in our country during the early 90s. That's when under new democratic laws, private radio stations were allowed to operate and these private radio stations started playing rock music. These radio stations n ot only played international, mostly American and British music, but also started promoting local rock singers. Today, the rock scene is flourishing.
